Sofía Vergara rocked a chocolate brown one-piece swimsuit with a lace-up plunging neckline.
She posed in the bathing suit in a series of photos on Instagram to promote her skincare line Toty.
The look comes after a number of other plunging and criss-cross looks in recent months.
Sofía Vergara could not be more ready for summer. The Modern Family actress recently took to Instagram to share some beachy snaps in one of the season’s hottest swimwear trends: the lace-up neckline.
Her chocolate brown one-piece, which comes from her own swimwear line with Walmart, featured a classic, simple silhouette aside from the dramatic plunging neck with its bold criss-cross lace-up detailing and large silver eyelets. Vergara paired the sexy swimsuit with a luscious vintage-style floral silk robe, which she let fall from her shoulders as she posed on an ornate wooden sofa with white linen furnishings. She wore her hair down and straight in a center part and accessorized with a stack of gold bracelets and matching gold rings.

Vergara has a long track record of serving up a strong swimwear look. Last summer, she rocked a classic black one-piece with an extra low plunging neck. Meanwhile, this spring, she wore a black thong bikini along with a makeshift bandana bandeau top.
This also isn’t the first time Vergara has experimented with a criss-cross lace-up detail. At the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, for instance, she opted for a mint green strapless gown that featured cut-outs with criss-cross detailing.

Last year, Vergara opened up about feeling confident in swimwear. “Swimsuits are always difficult for women—no matter what age, what size, what race,” she said to E! News, while discussing her Walmart swimwear line. “We all have our insecurities. But once you get older, it’s even more because we don’t look the same.”
“You have to find options that do what you want them to do,” she went on. “You can’t wear the same things you wore in your 20s or 30s. In your 40s and 50s, things start changing, so it’s good that there are things, like our Walmart [collection], that hold you and shape you, and enhances what you have.”
