Sofia Richie Grainge enjoyed a solo night out in New York City at the 2025 Met Gala.
While walking the carpet for fashion’s biggest night, the model and entrepreneur, 26, chatted with Entertainment Tonight about everything from her Met Gala look to the experience of getting ready as a new mom. Richie Grainge opened up about what it was like preparing for the huge night, while also taking care of her little one.
“You know what, it was a balanced day. I had a half of day with my baby and I had the other half of my day doing the most glam evening, taking a shot of tequila, which I haven’t done in a long time,” she told the outlet. “I’m having a good time, and I’m here without my husband, which I haven’t done in a long time.”
“I miss him tonight, but I’m just so happy to be here,” she continued.

For the 2025 Met Gala, the beauty pro made her mark on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 5. She wore a white satin Tommy Hilfiger gown with some dramatic details. Richie Grainge recently designed a womenswear collection for the brand.
The ensemble featured a high neck, short sleeves and an open back with a massive bow so big it could be seen from the front. She wore her hair in her signature slicked-back bun and sported a simple, glowy makeup look.
The proud mom welcomed her first baby with husband Elliot Grainge, 31, in May 2024, announcing the exciting news on her Instagram. In the black-and-white photo, the couple’s daughter’s little feet can be seen cuddled into a pair of hands as the newborn baby wears a light-colored onesie.
“Eloise Samantha Grainge 🤍5•20•24 best day of my life🤍,” she wrote in the caption.

In January 2024, Richie Grainge confirmed she was pregnant with her first baby in an interview with Vogue. While chatting with the outlet, she also revealed that the couple, who tied the knot in April 2023, were expecting a girl. “She’s growing pretty fast, so [the due date] is a bit up in the air,” she said.
“I love the YouTubes and the TikToks — even before I was talking about getting pregnant — of gender reveals, so we had our OB text my assistant Becca [our baby’s gender], and we bought two party poppers: one blue, one pink,” she said.
“She left out the one with the correct color inside, and Elliot and I popped it together,” she continued. “We both really thought it was a boy, so it was a true shock. My dream in life is to have a daughter [though], and Elliot is really excited for a girl too.”
