The model and mom, 26, has always been known for her polished updos, but her summer looks are going to look a little different now that she has a brand new haircut.
On Saturday, June 21, Richie Grainge revealed that she got a bob hairstyle after six months of trying to repair her “fried” ends from damage done by keratin treatments.
“I’ve been cutting at it hoping I could get this dead away. I know what I have to do to make this hair healthy again is to start over,” she explained in a TikTok video.

Hours before finally taking the plunge, Richie Grainge filmed herself chatting with her husband, Elliot Grainge, about the change. “I’ve decide I don’t want a lob. I want like a real bob. Will you shave your head in solidarity to me having to cut a bob?” she jokingly asked.
The clip then cut to Richie Grainge in the hair-cutting chair while celebrity stylist George Curran got to work.
“Eloise is not going to recognize me. She’s going to be like, ‘Who is this lady?'” she joked of her 1-year-old daughter.

Speaking with Vogue, Curran, who cut the star’s hair in France, said that he was sent a few references of an “‘old money’ longer bob, with a few layers around the face.”
“She was undecided on what she wanted to do. But like I said to her, until I see the person in real life, when they’re sat in front of the mirror and we’re chatting, it’s hard to decide before. We decided on the day,” the pro added.
On her TikTok page, Richie Grainge revealed that she experimented with a shorter hairstyle as a teenager, but didn’t really know how to style it back then. Thanks to Curran’s skilled hands, her latest version was expertly blown-out to perfection.
Out of excitement for her refreshed look, Richie Grainge couldn’t stop tossing her hair around. Elliot too was left with his jaw dropped. “I think it’s really, really pretty. Oh my God, Sofia it looks amazing,” he exclaimed in the background of her post.

The bob haircut has been dominating Hollywood since last January, when everyone from America Ferrera to Quinta Brunson bared their shoulders with their chin-hitting, vintage-inspired “flippy bobs.”
This past year though, stars have truly put their own spin on the trend. Leslie Bibb took over the internet with her White Lotus hair (later cheekily named by her stylist Chris McMillan as the “c—- little bob” and later adopted by Jenna Bush Hager on live TV).
Hailee Steinfeld also became a short hair girl when she cut her long brunette locks into a shoulder-hitting lob for Sinners. Her stylist Mara Roszak noted to Vogue that the “classic and conservative” look of the ‘30s was their inspiration. “We’re calling it a ‘swing bob,’ ” but if any admirers want it for themselves, they should request a “long, layered collarbone-grazing bob,” she advised.
