The long-running tension over “Sister Wives” stars’ Coyote Pass property has finally come to a close, with all four parcels selling for a combined $1.5 million.

Just last month, the Brown family fans watched as Robyn Brown admitted feeling betrayed by Meri Brown, who threatened legal action over the land dispute.

The Flagstaff property, bought in 2018 for $820,000, was initially meant to be a shared home for Kody Brown, his then-wives Meri, Janelle, and Christine, along with his current wife Robyn and all of their children.

After years of tension and on-screen disagreements, the Brown family has officially closed the chapter on their once-shared dream property in Flagstaff.

Kody, his current wife, Robyn, and former wives, Meri and Janelle, finalized the sale of their Coyote Pass land for $1.5 million, turning a $680,000 profit from their initial purchase of $820,000.

Christine, who split from Kody in 2021, had already signed over her portion of the land to Kody and Robyn for just $10 in July 2022.

As The Sun reported, the property was divided into multiple parcels: one 2.42-acre lot held by Kody and Robyn sold for $305,000, and another 2.42-acre piece co-owned by Meri and Janelle also sold for $305,000.

A 4.48-acre section sold for $400,000, and the final parcel closed at $490,000 and all finalized on April 14, 2025.

Kody once envisioned building five separate homes for himself and his wives on Coyote Pass. But instead of breaking ground, the family broke apart and the land has now officially changed hands.

Land transfers reportedly took place in the weeks leading up to the $1.5 million sale. Two parcels were moved from Kody and Robyn to all four co-owners, Kody, Robyn, Meri, and Janelle, on March 27, 2025.

One plot, previously co-owned by Kody and Janelle, was handed over to Janelle and Meri for just $10. The final parcel stayed under Kody and Robyn’s control.

Previously, Kody and Janelle reportedly paid off a plot in their names on June 2, 2023, and another plot under Robyn’s name was purchased for $170,000 each.

On the TLC series, Kody found himself clashing with Janelle and Meri over how to move forward, admitting even Robyn had finally agreed to let it go.

“It’s come to the point where the family is not going to live here. Robyn was the last to give up on the dream. But she’s finally consented, ‘Yeah, let’s go ahead and sell,'” Kody said in a confessional.

Exhausted with the back-and-forth, Kody said he wanted to “sell the whole lot” and move on. Kody claimed he was the one who initially paid for the land and promised to split the profits four ways between himself, Robyn, and his two exes.

Reflecting on where things stand, Kody did not hide his frustration. “Now that they moved away, all they are interested in is getting the money. I’m sorry, ladies, but you left me here holding the bag, and I don’t know what to do with it,” he said.

Before the land was sold, signs of deeper fractures in the Brown family had already surfaced, especially between Robyn and Meri.

The Blast reported that in a March episode trailer, Robyn reflected on her strained relationship with Meri, expressing confusion over why someone she once supported was now shutting her out.

“I always had Meri’s back, even when people were plotting against her, ignoring her,” Robyn said, adding, “Why tell me that you want to have a relationship with me and then ghost me?”

Behind the scenes, Meri’s silence may have had less to do with personal tension and more with potential legal action. She was reportedly fuming over how the Coyote Pass land was being handled and even told Janelle she was considering hiring lawyers.

As Janelle and Meri fought for what they believed was their fair share, Kody was making it clear he did not think they were owed equal portions.

Talk of selling the land even stirred more conflict at the time. Kody and Robyn leaned toward putting it on the market, but Meri and Janelle were not ready to hand over control.

“I don’t think you get to decide what we do with it. Sorry, you are not the head of my family,” Meri insisted. In a confessional, the mother-of-one did not hold back. She suspected Kody and Robyn were working on their own plan and admitted trust had collapsed.

“None of us are talking to each other because none of us trust each other,” she explained.

With the sale finalized, one of the most talked-about chapters in “Sister Wives” history has officially ended.
