’90s legend Jewel is 51 and as beautiful as ever.
The Alaskan beauty took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a video of herself staring into the camera without makeup. With her hair tied back in a messy updo, the classic beauty still looked stunning. However, it was the funny news report from the television playing in the distance that provided viewers with a good laugh.
“A new study out of Brazil found that female psychopaths are more likely to go bare-faced and not wear makeup,” the television anchor can be heard saying in the distance.
“Should I be worried? 😂” Jewel captioned the video, her bare face visibly cringing at the camera.

Followers didn’t mind, chiming in with comments like “No makeup necessary, always stunning” and “You are so lovely!!”
While things are looking lovely for Jewel these days, she has courted a bit of controversy.
Back in January, the beloved singer apologized to fans for performing at Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s Make America Healthy Again Inaugural Ball, saying that she did so as an attempt to further her activism around mental health initiatives, Variety reported.
“I believe I can help. And if I believe I can help, I have to try,” she explained. “And if I wait to try until I agree 100 percent with the people that might be willing to help me, I’d never get off the bench. I don’t think that’s how activism works, waiting until everything’s perfect enough to participate. It’s actually because things are so imperfect that we have to find ways to engage and to participate, and we have to act now. We cannot wait another four years. I believe there are people in the new administration who are willing to help on this issue.”
