Frankly, at this point it would be confusing to see Simone Biles without some kind of award.
At the Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid, Spain, today, the record-breaking Olympic gymnast won her fourth Sportswoman of the Year Award, an honor once (in 2015) given to tennis icon Serena Williams.
Biles attended the event in a strapless black Eman AlAjlan dress. The gown had an ornate corseted bodice layered over champagne-colored floral lace. In the bottom half, it featured a bulbous peplum bubble skirt that was layered over a transparent maxi skirt that grazed the floor as the athlete walked.
Biles added an extra ounce of glamour to the ensemble via long, dangling diamond earrings, from Melinda Maria.

She also styled the look with black Alevì Milano patent leather platform heels with rounded toes, a black Tyler Ellis clutch, and a dainty gold hand chain.
Last year, Biles told Harper’s Bazaar, “A lot of us [pro gymnasts] are doing speaking engagements, Fashion Weeks, talk shows, all of the things—we don’t always just want to be known as athletes. So we are getting to showcase our style off the mat, and it’s been really exciting.”
Biles’s style is ever evolving, and she’s not afraid to try new things. Who can forget the four incredible Galia Lahav wedding gowns she wore to marry Jonathan Owens? They were: a classic corset look, a semi-sheer floral mermaid gown, a long embellished A-line dress, and a sparkly minidress for the wedding eve.
Biles knows it’s nice to dress up, but like the G.O.A.T. she is, her best accessory is always a trophy.
