Simon Cowell’s ‘Mini Me’ Son, 11, Is Almost as Tall as Him in Rare Photos

Simon Cowelldelighted fans with a rare look at his 11-year-old son.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, May 11, Mother’s Day in the U.S., the America’s Got Talent judge shared a few snaps with his sweet boy.

Making the best of the U.K.’s beautiful weather over the weekend, the duo posed for photos with their furry four-legged friend, a German Shepherd named Pebbles.

In the first snap, Eric pretended to sit on Pebbles, who was looking up at him lovingly. In the second, Simon hugged his son, whom he shares with fiancée Lauren Silverman, from behind, as their dog sat by them also facing the camera.

The third found the father-son duo getting down to Pebbles’ level, looking at him and petting him, as Simon held what appeared to be a ball, gearing up to play with the pup.

He captioned the post, “1. Love 2. Even more love 3. It was a long walk.”

Fans were thrilled to see Simon giving a glimpse at his personal life, with one writing, “I absolutely adore the strong bond you have with Eric. He truly has changed your life.”

“He’s almost as tall as you! You’re such a good dad Simon. It’s obvious to everyone! ❤️” another praised, as someone else stated, “Can’t believe how big he is i remember when he was tiny! ❤️” and a third called him Simon’s “mini me.”

Another questioned, “Wait… when did he grow up?!?! 😮”

In 2024, the former X-Factor judge opened up about finding joy and purpose in caring for his son, born in 2014, after experiencing the “intense loss” of his parents.

“Losing both my parents was the hardest thing that ever happened to me,” he went on, calling them his “best friends.” While Cowell’s father, Eric, died in 1999 from a heart attack, his mother Julie died in 2015, over a year after his son was born.
