‘Silence of the Lambs’ Star Anthony Hopkins Shares ‘Iconic’ Dinner Invitation for Kim Kardashian originally appeared on Parade.
Hollywood icon Anthony Hopkins, 87, has not lost his sense of humor. The Welsh acting legend, who won the 1991 Best Actor award for his eerie portrayal of cannibalistic serial killer Hannibal Lecter, resurrected his iconic Silence of the Lambs character in a hilarious social media post directed at Skims founder Kim Kardashian.

Hopkins regularly posts on social media, putting his biting sense of humor on display. In his most recent post, the two-time Academy Award winner can be seen wearing the recently-launched Skims brand face sculpting wrap. The product is designed to make your jawline look snatched, but Hopkins saw that the new Skims product bore a striking resemblance to the face mask his imprisoned Hannibal Lecter character was forced to wear in response to his penchant for dining on human parts.
In his social media post, Hopkins wears the face sculpting wrap while inviting Kim Kardashian to dine with him.
“Thank you, Kim. Don’t be afraid to come over for dinner,” the actor captioned the post.
The spoof video ends with Hopkins making the iconic slurping noise that sent chills up and down movie fans’ spines watching Silence of the Lambs.
