Selena Gomez knows what dessert she wants to enjoy at her upcoming wedding to Benny Blanco — and it’s certainly out of the box.
“Whenever that day comes, I do know I don’t want a big cake,” Gomez, 33, said in a clip shared via her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, via TikTok on Friday, July 25. “I think I’d want a mini one for just us that we can freeze.”
She continued, “My preferred dessert would be biscuits and gravy. My Nana’s biscuits and gravy — that sounds like dessert to me.”
Gomez, announced her engagement to Blanco in December 2024 after one year of dating.

“Forever begins now,” she captioned an Instagram post on December 11, featuring a photo of her left hand, adorned with a gorgeous (and massive) engagement ring. “Hey wait… that’s my wife,” Blanco, 37, added in the comments section.
The pair previously worked together on several songs before beginning their relationship in 2023. Gomez confirmed her relationship with the music producer in December of the same year.
After one fan commented, “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your boyfriend lol — it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans,” in response to broader reactions to Gomez’s love life, she stepped in to shut down speculation.
“Not mad. It’s been 6 months bb,” Gomez answered in a since-deleted comment. “I will always defend my friends, family and fans till the day I die.”
During an interview on the July 10 episode of the “Therapuss with Jake Shane” podcast, Blanco revealed he and Gomez haven’t yet started planning their wedding.
“We’re both working on so many things that we haven’t even had time to get into it, but we’re so excited,” he explained. “I think this summer, we’re going to sit down and be like, ‘Ok, what are we doing hun?’”
Blanco also noted the duo have been so busy with their work commitments that they haven’t even had a lot of time together.

“We’ve both been working so much,” he continued. “We got engaged and then it’s holidays and then we had to start all the promo for our stuff. Then she left to film her show, Only Murders, and then I met her and we hung out for a week and then it’s promo and then I’m writing another book.”
Blanco also made it clear that he knows the big day will be incredible. “It will be chill,” he said. “It will be amazing.”
