Selena Gomez had a long awaited reunion with one of her beloved Wizards of Waverly Place castmates.
The 33-year-old actress and musician just shared the special moment in a slideshow on Instagram, revealing that she met up with her former Disney Channel co-star Jennifer Stone.
In the snap, Stone could be seen smiling while sitting at an outdoor table and enjoying a meal with her old friend. Based on other pictures from the photo dump, it appears that the duo may have even later tuned into an old episode of Wizards.

In response the reunion, fans freaked out, ecstatic to see the two women back together after so long.
“Don’t make me cry right now lolol I’m so happy to see this!” one fan wrote, while another added, “The world is healing.”
Other fans wondered if the reunion meant that fans would get to see Stone on the Wizards reboot, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
“Harper resurgence in S2 of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place?” a fan wrote, with another chiming in, “My delusional a– is taking this as Harper’s return to Wizards Beyond Waverly Place season 2!”
It’s the first time that the pair have been spotted together in years, although Gomez did virtually appear on an episode of Stone’s podcast Wizards of Waverly Pod in 2023. During the episode, Gomez opened up about drifting apart from the cast after filming wrapped.
“I felt ashamed of the decisions that I made,” Gomez said on the podcast, which is also hosted by Wizards co-star David DeLuise. “I didn’t want you guys to see me in the state that I was in because A, you would have told me the truth which terrifies me, and B, I didn’t want to let you down.”
In response, Stone showed appreciation for Gomez, adding, “To be perfectly blunt, like you know there has been times where I’m like … ‘Did we stop being friends because I didn’t tell her what she wanted to hear?'”
Thankfully, Gomez and Stone’s friendship appears to now be in a much better place!
