Stevie Wonder has been churning out the hits since the ’60s.

But when he’s not wowing crowds with his silky voice and catchy tunes, the man who redefined the birthday song is a proud father to his nine kids.

Wonder welcomed his first child, daughter Aisha, with girlfriend Yolanda Simmons back in 1975. The then-couple went on to welcome another child together, Keita, born in 1977, before they went their separate ways.

Wonder had his third child, Mumtaz, in 1983 with vocalist Melody McCully, who sang with him for years. His fourth child, Sophia, was born in 1985, followed by his fifth child, Kwame, three years later.

In 2001, Wonder wed fashion designer Kai Millard in 2001 and they welcomed sons Kailand and Mandla, born in 2001 and 2005, respectively. The couple divorced in 2012 after 11 years of marriage.

The “Superstition” singer would find love again with Tomeeka Robyn Bracy and the two got married in 2017. At the time of their wedding, the pair had already welcomed two children, Zaiah and Nyah.

As the beloved singer celebrates his 75th birthday on May 13, 2025, take a look at these rare photos he’s taken with some of his kids through the years.

Wonder wonder was joined by his daughter Aisha as he hit the stage at Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands, in 2008. Aisha was the inspiration behind Wonder’s 1976 hit, “Isn’t She Lovely”

“I remember writing ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ — I can almost cry right now thinking about it,” the songwriter told O Magazine.

“The sound of my daughter Aisha splashing in the bathtub created a picture,” he added. “That was emotion stuck in a moment, and that can never, ever be taken away.”

The “Ribbon in the Sky” crooner was surrounded by some of his kids — including Keita, Kwame, Sophia, Aisha, Mumtaz, Mandla and Kailand Morris — for his 57th birthday in 2007.
