Sean “Diddy” Combs has finally issued a comment amid his criminal trial.

On May 20, the rapper, who is on trial in New York over federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering with conspiracy and transportation for prostitution(and has plead not guilty), broke his silence in the courtroom, issuing just a four-word statement.

As court was adjourned for the day, the 55-year-old stated, as reported by People, “I love you all.” It’s unclear who the message was directed at, however, he allegedly doubled down on the message, stating under his breath, “Yeah, love.”

The outlet also reported that Diddy then spoke with a woman in the gallery, stating, “Please let Justin know I’m thinking of him,” seemingly about his 31-year-old son.

He was previously seen expressing affection during a May 13 court appearance, making a heart gesture with his hands as he made his way to his seat at the defense table.

While the hip hop mogul has not taken the stand yet, several key figures have testified in the proceeding, including ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard, who described disturbing instances of violence, abuse, drug usage, and coercion into unwanted sex acts and parties known as “freak offs.”

The R&B singer’s mom, Regina Ventura, also took the stand, explaining that she had to take out a $20,000 loan to pay Diddy after he threatened to release explicit videos of her daughter following a jealous rage over Cassie’s relationship with Kid Cudi, whom is expected to testify this week about their brief relationship.
