Scarlett Johansson made her directorial debut in style.
For her second day at the Cannes Film Festival, the actor attended the photocall for her film Eleanor The Great, celebrating her directorial debut in a cool Prada suit.
The buttoned-up look featured an oversize navy pinstripe suit jacket with black buttons, and a matching pleated skirt, which the Fly Me to the Moon star wore styled over a white collared shirt. The Outset founder kept the accessories for the simple with a pair of pointed-toe white pumps and classic diamond studs.
Johansson was joined at the photocall by her film’s star, June Squibb, and the two posed for photos along with a few of the movie’s other cast members.
Eleanor The Great was received at the premiere with cheers, tears, and a five-minute standing ovation.
The Lost in Translation star arrived at Cannes on Monday, straight off of her Saturday Night Live hosting gig for the show’s season 50 finale in New York City. That evening, Johansson walked the red carpet for the premiere of Vie Privée (A Private Life) in a soft lavender Prada gown.
The whimsical dress featured ruched bodice and a flowy skirt with airy sashes that flowed down to the floor, creating sweeping trains on each side. Johansson accessorized the look with drop diamond earrings and a bold red lip.
Johansson was joined on the carpet at the Palais des Festivals by husband and longtime SNL cast member Colin Jost. The comedian looked dapper next to his wife in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie.
