Sara Foster opened up about her family life on a recent episode of her podcast
The actress and mom of two revealed that her daughter Valentina, 14, has juvenile arthritis
Foster, who’s also a mom to daughter Josephine, revealed one of the things that has helped her daughter with the symptoms
Sara Foster is giving people a glimpse into her family life.
While speaking about holistic wellness brand Bon Charge on The World’s First Podcast With Erin & Sara, which she hosts with her sister Erin Foster, the actress and mom of two, 44, mentioned that her 14-year-old daughter Valentina was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis.
According to Mayo Clinic, juvenile idiopathic arthritis is “the most common type of arthritis in children under the age of 16.” It can cause “persistent joint pain, swelling and stiffness” with some children dealing with the symptoms for a few months and others several years. This specific type of arthritis can cause growth issues, joint damage, and eye inflammation.
During the podcast, Sara revealed that aside from taking medical advice, she was told to invest in a red light sleeping bag, which can help reduce inflammation caused by the arthritis.

Foster shares her daughters, Valentina and Josephine, 9, with ex-partner Tommy Haas. In August 2024, a source confirmed the couple’s split to PEOPLE.
The insider said the podcaster and entrepreneur and ex-tennis pro, 47, were “entirely focused on co-parenting their two daughters.
In November 2023, when Valentina became a teenager, the proud mom shared a photo of her and her all-grown-up daughter, noting that she’d have to get used to saying she’s the mother of a teen.
“‘I have a teenager’ is something I’m going to have to get used to. #vivIs13 🎉😱” she wrote in the caption.

The tight-knit family is always enjoying funny moments with each other. In 2019, Sara shared a slew of vacation photos from a family trip to Aspen, Colorado, with Haas and their two daughters, including a hilarious photo that showed her younger daughter, then 3 years old, flipping off the camera.
“Feels like I’m really nailing this parenting thing,” Foster jokingly captioned the image.
In the silly photo, Josephine wore a matching gray sweatsuit with colorful stripes on the side as her big sister Valentina, who was 8 years old at the time, watched from the side.
Sara’s sister Erin left a sassy message in the comments section, writing, “You’re not really with her enough to be a bad influence.”
Sharing the same photo on her Instagram Story, Sara continued to poke fun at the situation, writing, “That’s what I get after taking her to Aspen for 10 days…”
