The San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks started with both teams scoring and keeping the game close until the Spurs went on an 8-0 run to take a 23-10 lead with 4:21 left on the clock.

The Spurs won the first period 29-20, with Harrison Barnes and Chris Paul scoring 10 points apiece. Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 13 points.

The Spurs took off in the second quarter and extended their lead to 63-37 with 1:18 left on the clock. Stephon Castle and Sandro Mamukelashvili joined the party to lead the Spurs to a 67-43 lead ahead of halftime.

The Knicks tried to cut the lead in the third quarter and did it to some extent, posting a 22-13 run in the first nine minutes of the third period. The Spurs entered the fourth and final quarter with an 83-72 lead.

The Spurs took revenge after their Christmas Day loss and beat the Knicks 120-105 at home. Mamukelashvili went off with 34 points for the Spurs while Karl-Anthony Towns responded with 32 points.
