The White Lotus’s Sam Nivola and Iris Apatow sparked dating rumors last year when the actress and model popped up in photos from Nivola’s adventures on the show’s season 3 set. Since then, they have been pretty private in terms of talking about their relationship, but a picture is worth a thousand words. And they post a lot of adorable photos.

The couple has a lot in common, as they are both the children of Hollywood stars. Nivola is the son of actors Alessandro Nivola and Emily Mortimer, and started gaining traction as a star on his own with roles in The Pursuit of Love and White Noise before landing a spot on Mike White’s hit show, The White Lotus, on HBO. Apatow is the daughter of producer Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann, appearing in her dad’s films like Knocked Up and This Is 40 as a kid. On April 6, Nivola shared photos from what looks like Thailand, including his White Lotus co-stars Patrick Schwarzenegger and Sarah Catherine Hook. They were spending a relaxing day out on a boat. Also aboard was Apatow, enjoying the sun in a swimsuit.

May 2024

Nivola appeared in a black-and-white photo in Apatow’s Instagram carousel in May, in which she is holding him affectionately.

He posted a carousel of pictures the same month that included shots of Apatow in black-and-white walking through a rural area.

June 2024

In June, Nivola shared a photo seemingly taken at the same occasion as the one Apatow shared in May. In this black-and-white pic, she is giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Apatow shared pictures of herself from a trip abroad on Instagram, and in the caption she credited Nivola as the photographer.

August 2024

The Knocked Up star posted an Instagram carousel that included a picture of her laying a kiss on Nivola’s cheek, which was already lipstick stained.

October 2024

On October 16, they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the reopening of Burberry’s East 57th Street flagship store in New York. They adorably embraced in front of the cameras and as they walked in and out of the venue.

On October 23, they attended the Museum of Modern Art’s 16th Annual Film Benefit in New York City.

January 2025

The actor seemingly confirmed he was still dating Apatow in early 2025 during an interview with British Vogue. After being asked about the “nepo baby” discourse, Nivola joked that he, his friends, and Apatow are “some secret cabal of nepo kids who hang out in black robes.”

February 2025

The couple posed together at The White Lotus premiere on February 10 in Los Angeles. Apatow even kissed her boyfriend while wearing his suit jacket in a candid shot of them at the event.

She shared her own photos of them at the premiere on Instagram, writing, “Enjoy these blown out photos🪷”

March 2025

Ahead of The White Lotus season 3, episode 5 airing (one with a viral moment for his character), Nivola shared some behind-the-scenes photos, including a pic of his girlfriend on set. She appears in the ninth photo. “White Lotus episode tonight is insane! Full moooon!! Check it out,” he wrote.

May 2025

On May 3, Nivola posted a carousel of photos from a recent vacation and other big life moments on Instagram. It included shots with their friends, Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge, as well as Apatow’s mother, Leslie Mann. They evidently enjoyed some fun dining, at the beach, and on the tennis courts together.

Apatow commented on the post, sharing these emojis: “😍😍😍.”
