As Outlanderfans anxiously await the eighth and final season of the hit show, one of the stars, Sam Heughan, is continuing to explore new avenues in his career, and fans can’t get enough.
In his latest career update, the actor shared some exciting news with fans while showing off a look that is a little different from his usual style.

Heughan shared a new video on social media on May 13, in which he brought fans along as he made a cocktail from his upcoming book, The Cocktail Diaries: A Spirited Adventure. The actor showed off his skills as he made the Breakfast Martini before excitedly revealing the official cover for the book, out this fall.
But there was another detail about the video that deserved attention, as Heughan looked suave with a bit more stubble than usual. He also wore a baseball cap, and while it couldn’t be confirmed, he appeared to be rocking a buzzcut underneath. It’s unclear when the video was originally taken, so it could be for a role or simply a personal change in style.

One fan couldn’t help but comment on the look, replying to the video, “Lovin the haircut Sam. Congratulations on your book.”
Another simply said, “so handsome 🫶,” while more chimed in to say, “So happy and proud of you ❤️🙌!!!” and “I’m so excited for this! Can’t wait ❤️.”
Heughan’s new book, The Cocktail Diaries: A Spirited Adventure, is set to hit shelves in the U.K. on Sept. 18 and the U.S. on Sept. 23.
