Live from Studio 8H — it’s Quinta Brunson!

The actress, 35, hosted Saturday Night Live on May 3, when she was joined by Benson Boone as the musical guest.

During her opening monologue, Brunson gushed about returning to the late-night comedy sketch series before joking that she’s “proof you can do anything you put your mind to, even if people look down on you.”

“Whether it’s because of where you come from or literally because you’re only 4’11,” she continued. “Yeah, that’s right, I’m short. It’s OK. They even tried to cast me as a kid on Abbott Elementary, and I wrote that.

“But I love being short, and I want other short people to know the sky’s the limit. So shorties, tonight, this one’s for us,” Brunson said, before breaking into a song about her height.

She shouted out noteworthy “shorties,” including the 4 feet 8 inches Olympian Simone Biles, 5 feet 5 inches rapper Kendrick Lamar, and 5 feet 7 inches actor Tom Holland. Brunson was then suddenly interrupted by the appearance of the 5-foot singer Sabrina Carpenter on stage.

The pair went on to bond over eating short ribs and reading short stories as they continued the song. Before they concluded, Brunson and Carpenter, 25, were joined by Marcello Hernandez and former NBA champion Dwyane Wade.

“It’s how we like our movies, and how we like our margins,” they sang. “We’ve been the same height since kindergarten. Life is just more fun when you’re fun size.

“Now it’s time for the show, Quinta is here and we’re live!” they added.
