Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa still remain good friends two years after his departure from Live With Kelly and Ryan.
The Wheel of Fortune host, 50, opened up to E! News about his friendship with Ripa, 54, and said he had a “blasting” hosting the show with her and that he is still close friends with her and husband Mark Consuelos.
“Mark and Kelly have invited me to come on in a couple weeks,” he said. “So, I will be there. The trifecta, we’ll be on the set. I can’t wait to see them.”
Seacrest initially joined Ripa on Live With Kelly and Ryan in May 2017 and hosted alongside her for six years. He eventually stepped away from the show and Consuelos replaced him in 2023 and opened up about missing “being next to Kelly every single day.”
“We’re extremely close, we’re very good friends, we’ll remain good friends,” he continued. “But there’s that hour of communicating with somebody. You become super excited about doing it. You laugh, and then, of course, you can’t remember what you said to each other. So, I’ll miss that part.”

Along with Ripa, Seacrest also has a close friendship with Consuelos as well. When he was announced to replace Seacrest’s place in 2023, Consuelos dedicated his Instagram post to him and wrote “I love you like a brother.”
“I know I have some big shoes to fill … well actually they’re only a size 9, but you know what I mean,” he joked at the time.
