During Entertainment Weekly‘s exclusive group interview (below) with the returning cast of All Stars 10 queens, Ginger Minj reveals that Acid Betty once saved her life while the pair toured together alongside fellow AS10 sister Daya Betty.
“Acid literally saved my life on tour and took me to the hospital years ago,” Ginger, who previously competed on season 7, All Stars 2, and All Stars 6, tells EW when reflecting on feeling reassured upon seeing familiar faces among the new season’s cast.
Ginger goes on to recall that she “had some internal bleeding” during the traveling tour, but felt compelled to continue on with the show because she was trying “to be a professional girl” on the road.
“I was just kind of putting on the pads and tights and doing the show,” Ginger continues. “Afterwards, [Acid] actually noticed that I was covered in blood. My tights were covered in blood. I was like, ‘Girl, it’s fine, I’ll throw those away! I’ve got more tights, let’s get to the tour bus. We’ve got to go to the next stop.'”
Thankfully, the season 8 alum did listen. Ginger recalls, “She said, ‘Nope, you’re getting into this car and we’re going to the emergency room!'”
Sitting behind her for the group interview, Acid nods as Ginger tells the story, with the latter stressing, “I will also say, I did not miss the next show! I was fixed and ready.”
Ginger says that Acid “really put me at ease walking into the Werk Room” on All Stars 10 — as did Daya — because she says she then “knew that even if I doubted myself of fell or started to slip a little bit, I knew I had two people in my corner no matter what.”
Season 13’s ice-skating queen Denali also praises Acid for her sisterly nature.
“That’s one thing people don’t know about Acid: She’s actually an angel,” Denali says. “She’s literally such a good person.”
Season 15 star Irene the Alien — who initially competed in 2023 as Irene Dubois — then makes a joke about the devilish promo look Acid wore for the interview, which includes a set of brightly colored horns poking out from her head.
“She looks so mad that you’re saying that!” Irene quips.
While the All Stars 10 sisters have an appreciation for one another outside the competition, a new format change awaited them upon re-entering the Werk Room, which tested not only their drag skills, but also their ability to adapt to a new, never-before-seen high-stakes competitive arena.

All Stars 10 marks the first time in Drag Race her-story that queens will compete in bracket-style groups, with the largest-ever cast (18 queens!) joining the contest in three different groups of six queens each, which will use a point-based system to whittle those sets down to three contestants each ahead of a final round of competition.

“I think being in a smaller group, there’s more chance to focus on everything…. you’re able to keep your eye on the girls a little bit more,” season 13’s Tina Burner tells EW of the new dynamic and format change as the queens prepare to square off for a cash prize of $200,000. “I can watch every one of them and all the shady s— they’re trying to do, and know who to not talk to and who to keep at a tender distance.”
