Rosanne Cash and John Leventhal are proud to have hit three decades of marriage.
The couple marked their marriage milestone with congratulatory posts on social media on Wednesday, April 30. They each posted a photo of a celluloid red pearloid guitar pick from their nuptials, which was imprinted with their names, “Rosanne & John,” followed by their wedding date, “4-30-95.”
“Congratulations to @johnleventhal,” Cash, 69, began her morning post on Instagram. “Congratulations to me.”

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter continued, “30 years and I love him more than I ever have. We’ve been told the first 30 years are the hardest, so I guess we will drive each other a little less crazy from now on. Today’s the day I stop trying to make him think like me.”
Simultaneously, Leventhal, 72, penned a sweet and cheeky tribute.

“Amazing. Congratulations @rosannecash,” the producer captioned his Instagram post. “Full disclosure, I love you more than I could/would possibly ever say on Instagram. Marriage side note: I’ve recently been told the first 30 years are the hardest.”

Cash and Leventhal got married on April 30, 1995.
The pair share five children — daughters Hannah, Caitlin, Chelsea and Carrie, and son Jakob.
In 1979, Cash became a stepmother to her first husband Rodney Crowell’s daughter, Hannah. Before their divorce in 1992, they welcomed Caitlin, Chelsea and Carrie together. In 1999, Cash and Leventhal had their first and only son together, Jakob.
