Rock Legend, 70, Stuns Fans with Classic Guitar Move: ‘He’s Still Got It’

There’s no way to talk about modern rock music and not mention the influence of Australian hard rock outfit AC/DC. The five-piece band has become a staple of music history for the past fifty years, leaving the world head-banging with their classic, hard hitting songs.

Through all the iconic songs, moments, and that famous logo, one symbol has stood out above the others, and that symbol is lead guitarist, Angus Young.

That name conjures so many images. The schoolboy outfit, the pointed guitar, and his irreplaceable stage presence. His powerful riffs have propelled the band not only into superstardom, but into the history books. It’s hard to go to any sporting event without hearing Thunderstruck or Back in Black.

As it turns out, you might hear more than just recordings of the band in stadiums today, you might just get the real deal. At a recent show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Angus Young was tearing up the stage like he was young again, and the fans are loving it.

“Dude performing like he’s 20,” one fan commented. I have to agree, it’s pretty hard to see the age on him when he’s selling out crowds to this day.

Another fan stated that, “Angus will keep playing for as long as he can. Why wouldn’t he? A rock star in the truest sense.”

One fan put it as simply as possible:

“He’s still got it.”

AC/DC will be playing their next show at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh tomorrow. No matter what, I think it’s safe to say that Angus Young will be rocking just as hard as ever.
