Robin Thicke had some very special people by his side as he celebrated his nuptials.
On Monday, June 2, the singer-songwriter, 48, shared a black-and-white photo of himself on his wedding day with his newly minted wife, April Love Geary, and his four children. The family posed with bright smiles, dressed in their wedding attire.
Thicke is a father to son Julian, 15, whom he welcomed during his previous relationship with actress Paula Patton. He is also a dad to Luca, 4, Lola, 6, and Mia, 7, whom he shares with his wife.
“Happy Life! 😇” he simply captioned the adorable photo, tagging his wife and their wedding photographer.

Thicke first became a father in 2010 when he welcomed his son Julian with the Baggage Claim actress, 49. After the 2016 death of his father, Alan Thicke, the “Lost Without U” singer said he was inspired to have more children. From 2018 to 2020, he welcomed his other three kids with his now-wife.
The Masked Singer judge also has been candid about how his father’s death made him “put everything aside” and be there for his older son, Julian.
“I wasn’t in a good place when he passed, and I wasn’t in a better place right after,” Thicke told PEOPLE in 2021. “However, a few months later, I decided to dedicate my time to raising my son, and that really was a big turn for me. Instead of focusing on my music, I focused on my son. That’s how I got through that period.”
Thicke also credited fatherhood as what “brought [him] back,” telling PEOPLE, “I think probably when I lost my father, it’s no coincidence that I’ve had three children in the last few years … because that’s how big that hole is.”
In October 2024, The Real Husbands of Hollywood alum shared valuable advice he follows when parenting his kids during an interview with Nessa on her Hot 97 Radio Show.
“I had some therapy sessions, you know, with co-parenting and things like that and I learned something very valuable about the most important thing you can teach your kids is to make good decisions,” Thicke began. “Because we are not going to be there all the time when they need to make a good decision and that’s what you really want to impart upon them is quality decision making throughout their whole life.”

When asked how parents can do that for their kids, Thicke was quick to share that they can just “be there.”
“Be aware. And pay attention. You know, they’re gonna struggle with things. They’re gonna have weaknesses at times,” Thicke said. “They’re gonna have their strengths and their weaknesses so anytime I see something going in the wrong direction, I focus, I pinpoint it.”
The singer went on to share that he feels like it’s the parents’ job to help their kids through their struggles and for him, that means going through it with them.
“It’s like a lot of times parents will go, ‘I don’t know what your problem is. I don’t know why you’re acting like that.’ I don’t know but you know it starts with the parents,” Thicke said.
“And if you’re blaming the kids for the way they are instead of figuring out how to adjust who they are. So I just really always take the blame. I always go, ‘No, no. I need to do something first,’ ” he continued.
“My son’s having trouble reading in school? I’m going to read with him. If my daughter’s having trouble with this, I’m going to do it with her. And that way it won’t be her fault. It’s gotta be on my shoulders. Especially at this young age.”
