Trump is the greatest sports president of all-time … straight up.

Major League Baseball (MLB) Commissioner Rob Manfred shocked baseball fans everywhere when he made the announcement that the legendary Pete Rose would be reinstated and once more made eligible to be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

After it was brought to light that he gambled on baseball games when he was the Cincinnati Reds manager, Rose was banned for life by Major League Baseball, which extended into his Hall of Fame eligibility. But the problem is, a lot of fans over the years haven’t exactly been supportive of the ban, particularly because Rose was such a legend that he should have already been in the Hall of Fame.(RELATED: Trevor Bauer Lands $310,000 Payday From Sexual Assault Accuser Who Was Allegedly Going After ‘The Bag’: REPORT)

Back in May, Rose and other dead players were taken off the ineligible list by Manfred, who stated that a lifetime ban shouldn’t be a thing after a player dies. At that particular time, there was a lot of speculation that President Donald Trump had some kind of influence in the move because he has been quite vocal for a while now about how Rose should be in the Hall. Then, Manfred didn’t speak about the president’s influence.

Here in June, it’s now a different story as Manfred admits that Trump played a role, doing so in a Wednesday press conference that was connected to an owners meeting.

“The president was one of a number of voices that was supportive of the idea that this was the right decision,” admitted Manfred, per Sports Business Journal. “Obviously, I have respect for the office and the advice that he gave I paid attention to, but I had a lot of other people that were weighing in on the topic as well.”

The greatest sports president of all-time … the greatest Hip Hop president of all-time … the greatest president of all-time, period.
