To honor the milestone anniversary, Wilson used social media to reflect on the movie. Wilson shared a video clip from the flick of her singing the song “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5.

The moment was iconic in the movie and also had a major impact on Wilson.
“In ‘Now and Then’ I played Chrissy, reuniting with her childhood best friends and looking back on their unforgettable summer of 1970. It was actually the first time I ever sang on screen, covering ‘I’ll Be There’ by the Jackson 5, which years later found its way onto my ‘Now & Forever: Duets’ album.
