Riley Green is unveiling a major transformation.
The country star shocked fans with a selfie revealing that he had shaved his signature mustache.
In the snap shared to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, May 20, Green, 36, is seated in a car while wearing a blue button-down shirt and white backward baseball hat. His usual facial hair is gone, and instead he appears freshly shaved.
“Never let em know your next move,” the singer wrote alongside the photo, adding the hashtag #shegone.
Earlier this month, fellow country star Ella Langley said that she encouraged Green to keep his mustache for the music video for their duet, “You Look Like You Love Me.”
In a TikTok video shared by Baton Rouge, La., radio station 100.7 The Tiger, Langley, 25, addressed Green’s facial hair backstage after the Academy of Country Music Awards on Thursday, May 8.
“Everyone’s excited about Riley’s mustache. You can thank me for Riley’s mustache,” Langley says in the clip, per Taste of Country.

“I told Riley that he could not shave his mustache off, at least for the music video,” she continued, noting that she wanted the video to look like “an old Western.”
Langley added, “… and so here we are still, a year later, and I don’t think he can get rid of the ‘stache. We’re stuck this way.”
At the 2025 ACMs, Langley led the nominations with eight total, followed by Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson with seven each as well as Green and Post Malone, who each earned five.
Langley took home the award for New Female Artist of the Year. She and Green’s duet won Single of the Year, Music Event of the Year and Visual Media of the Year.
The event was hosted by Reba McEntire and took place at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas.

Green recently set the record straight about his relationship status. During the premiere episode of the In the Blind podcast on March 3, the musician — who’s recently been linked to Megan Moroney by fans online — was asked if he’s dating anyone.
“Single,” the “Worst Way” singer responded. “That was an easy one.”
Host Eric Gunderson then followed up, asking, “How single?”
“Pretty damn,” Green replied.
Reps for Green and Moroney did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Fans began speculating about a romance between Moroney and Green in January when TikTok users believed they were on vacation together. At the time, Moroney shared photos from her trip on Instagram and tagged Saint Barthélemy as the location.
Meanwhile, Green shared photos on his Instagram Stories at a resort — and a TikTok user pieced together that they matched a resort in Saint Barthélemy. Another TikTok user linked their shark photos.
Earlier that month, a fan on TikTok also pointed out that Moroney was wearing what appeared to be Green’s hat on her Instagram Stories.
