The superstar stepped out this Wednesday in Cannes—where she has been all week, supporting partner A$AP Rocky amid the premiere of his film Highest 2 Lowest—in an easy but nonetheless inspiring all-black summer ensemble.
The core of the look was a black shirtdress with a maxi skirt made entirely of fringe that swung as Rihanna walked. The dress had a mock neck and short sleeves, plus a geometric ribbed pattern all over.
The “Diamonds” singer wore the fun dress with black stilettos with a clear, PVC top strap, and the most luxurious, slouchy black raffia bag from Saint Laurent. The see-through Icare tote features the house’s logo in golden metal. It retails for a hot $5,300.

Rihanna topped off her monochrome look with inky-black Ray-Ban shades from Rocky’s latest collection with the brand, plus gold paperclip earrings and a gold watch. Her hair was up in a messy half-up, half-down style.
Earlier in the week, the singer—who is currently pregnant with her and Rocky’s third child—wowed in a slinky black cutout gown from Brandon Maxwell that hugged her baby bump. She also showed out in a sky-blue number from Alaïa and diamond jewelry from Boucheron as she walked the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals alongside Rocky, who looked dapper in a Saint Laurent suit and his Ray-Bans.
