Singer Rihanna is happy that she is no longer hiding her pregnancy!
During a May 5 interview with Access Hollywood on the red carpet for the 2025 Met Gala, Rihanna referenced that she was spotted showcasing her baby bump before the big event. According to Rihanna, she has a reason to be glad that her latest pregnancy is out in the open. When the Access Hollywood reporter asked, “How happy, how excited are ya’ll right now,” Rihanna, responded, “I feel a lot better that I don’t have to suck my stomach in anymore.”
Rihanna then thanked the reporter for his support amid her most recent pregnancy.
Rihanna gave some insight into her pregnancy in a May 5 interview with Entertainment Tonight. She told the publication that she was “shockingly feeling okay and not too overwhelmed at the moment” while expecting her third child with her partner of over 5 years, A$AP Rocky. The couple are parents to a nearly 3-year-old son, RZA, and a 21-month-old son, Riot.
“At first it was like, ‘Ah.’ And I’m tired. [But] I’m excited,” said Rihanna to Entertainment Tonight during the Met Gala.
Rihanna mentioned her desire to have a daughter in a November 2024 interview with Access Hollywood. She said she believed A$AP Rocky and their sons would get some “karma” if a baby girl joined the family.
In addition, she said she thinks A$AP Rocky would have a close relationship with a future daughter.
“I certainly feel like, based off what I’ve seen from little girls, I won’t be seeing much of Rocky. Like my niece, she took her dad, and that’s her bestie,” said Rihanna during the November 2024 interview.
She then joked that she wasn’t quite ready to get pregnant again.
“We’re not there yet. I’m still learning how to walk again. Like Bambi legs. I’m trying to find my balance with boys. So I’m not there yet,” said Rihanna to the publication.
