Since arriving at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday, Rihanna has turned heads with her bold maternity style. And Tuesday night was no different, when the star stepped out with longtime partner A$AP Rocky in a black cutout dress with thigh-high slit. The singer paired the asymmetric dress—which showed off her growing baby bump—with a matching black bag and lucite heels.
The couple was snapped following dinner at Cannes hotspot Palm Beach and later posed for a romantic photoshoot underneath a nearby bridge.
Matching the “Umbrella” singer’s dark look, Rocky donned a sharp brown ensemble featuring a sleek trench coat and chocolate leather loafers. Under the trench, he wore a gray suit with a brown shirt.
Both stars topped off their looks with Ray-Ban sunglasses from Rocky’s collection with the brand—him opting for chunky black ones and Rihanna going for magenta frames that played off her berry-colored lipstick.
Tuesday’s date night outfit wasn’t the first time Rihanna has rocked a cutout dress in Cannes. On Monday, the Fenty Beauty and Hair founder joined Rocky at the premiere of his film Highest 2 Lowest in a curve-hugging sky-blue Alaïa gown. The slinky, asymmetrical piece had a halter neckline, knotted sashes at the neck and waist, and hip cutouts on one side.
For the more formal red carpet event, Rihanna wore her hair up and accessorized the glamorous gown with a cluster of diamond earrings, while on Tuesday, the stylish mom—who shares sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2 with Rocky—channeled a more off-duty style. The Smurfs star wore her hair down, letting it freely flow behind her, and no jewelry, save for a gold wristlet watch.
Rihanna and Rocky are clearly enjoying their time in the French Riviera, bopping from red carpet events and parties to intimate date nights. Following Rocky’s big film premiere on Monday, the pair partied it up on a yacht at the Ray-Ban ambassador’s after-party with the sunglasses brand. While mingling with celebrity guests like Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse, Alex Consani and Spike Lee, Rocky and Rihanna coordinated sunglasses as “Fashion Killa” couples do.
