A Real Housewives of New Jersey star is finally speaking out about swirling divorce rumors. The reality star opened up about how the speculation has impacted her marriage and whether it has brought her and her husband closer or pushed them further apart.
Jennifer Aydin has faced rumors of her marriage crumbling for years. She and her husband Bill, discussed the state of their marriage in an interview with Us Weekly. “We are both committed to the commitment. We are very old school and traditional in our values. It works for us. We both believe in this.”
“[The divorce rumors] didn’t bring us closer together because we’re already close,” Jennifer admitted. Bill added, ““I don’t keep up on the social medias, but when I see it, I laugh it off.”
Jennifer couldn’t laugh off being confronted with accusations of her husband’s affair during the Season 12 premiere of the Bravo series. In 2022, Margaret Josephs brought up the affair at Teresa Giudice‘s pool party.

“It was supposed to be in the vault and never brought up again. When I say I told nobody, I didn’t tell my mother, I didn’t tell my sister, I didn’t tell my best friend,” she told PEOPLE Magazine.
The incident occurred while Jennifer was pregnant with the couple’s fourth child. They have five kids in total: Justin, Gabby, Jacob, Christian, and Olivia.
“Just because you did a bad thing, doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. And this is what I’ve been trying to reiterate to my kids: that when you love someone, people make mistakes, you forgive them if they’re truly remorseful,” she added. “Life is all about learning the lessons and what you do with it.”
This past June, the reality star shared an Instagram post that claimed she had filed for divorce. The rumor was that the paperwork was filed while Bill “whisked [his] mistress away on [a] romantic getaway to St. Barts.”
“Fake news people. Wait ’till I show Bill,” she wrote in the caption.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on hiatus. The series airs on Bravo.
