Please cast your poor, tired mind back to 2014, a simpler time when you were probably wearing skinny jeans, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams was dominating the charts, and Miley Cyrus was dating Patrick Schwarzenegger.
If this is brand new information to you, understandable: these two only dated for a few months. But they were pretty public! Here they are at a Grammy party:

A lot of celeb exes ran into each other at the Met, but the thing is, this relationship ended pretty dramatically. As in, Patrick was seen “packing on the PDA” with someone who definitely wasn’t Miley in March 2015. Per TMZ’s reporting at the time, Patrick “got very close with some OTHER chick in Cabo this weekend” noting it’s “possible this girl is just a friend… though ‘friends’ don’t usually do body shots off one another.”
Patrick denied cheating in since-deleted tweets, saying “Omg. It’s one of my best friends girlfriend…Would NEVER do anything against my GF….. Girls have guy friends and guys have friends that are girls…”
He and Miley ended up splitting shortly after, and a source told People: “They’re just in two different places in their lives. He’s in college and she’s focused on her music and career.”
Meanwhile, fans think Miley’s song “Baby Talk” is about Patrick, which, reminder, features the lyrics “Your baby talk is creeping me out / Fuck me so you stop baby talking.”
