‘Revenge of the Nerds’ Cast Is Nearly Unrecognizable 41 Years After Premiere originally appeared on Parade.
In 1984, nerdy kids everywhere got their just-desserts when Revenge of the Nerds debuted in theaters. The film centered around a group of guys who were being tortured by fraternity brothers of the jock-friendly Alpha Beta on Adams Collage Campus. The group ends up forming a frat of their own with the sole mission of taking down the jocks.
The film starred some now-recognizable names like John Goodman, Curtis Armstrong, Anthony Edwards, Robert Carradine, James Cromwell, Julia Montgomery and Timothy Busfield serving as a launchpad for a few careers.
Today some of the gang reunites regularly at fan conventions and recently one lucky fan made the rounds to meet most of the main cast members.
People were delighted to see how great they all look, and shared stories of times they got to meet and interact with the cast.
“I met Larry B. Scott in a traffic jam from a wreck. He was right behind me and we were stuck for over 2 hours so we got out of the cars and had a great conversation super chill dude,” remarked one fan.
“Curtis is so nice, I met him when i was in middle school and he got so excited that I knew him from dan vs that he gave me a dan signed print for free,” shared another.
“Ok, officially jealous! One of my favorite movies growing up,” added another.
While sadly the whole cast wasn’t in attendance, getting to see a lot of the guys (and leading lady) was such a treat, especially with how great they all look! today.
