Susan Miller, a retired senior Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) counterintelligence officer who claims to have played a significant role in the creation of the 2016 U.S. Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) regarding President Donald Trump and alleged Russian collusion, has reportedly had her “full clearance” revoked.
The Trump administration’s revocation of Miller’s clearance comes after her consistent defense of the ICA and its findings, even as new records questioning its legitimacy have been released, according to Just The News. Two Trump administration officials familiar with the matter confirmed the move to the outlet.
“This woman totally shouldn’t hold a high level security clearance after pushing the Russia Hoax. All she did was lie to the American people to hurt Trump,” a senior Defense official alleged. “Russian Hoaxers sought to undermine President Trump’s entire first term in office. A woman involved in the Russia Hoax cannot be trusted with a security clearance. Therefore, it has been revoked,” a senior Trump official said.
Through podcasts and video interviews, Miller has advocated for the accuracy of the ICA and claimed that her team did find that Russia preferred a Trump presidency in 2016. However, this appears to contradict records released by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard in July showing that the ICA team was aware at the time that there was no evidence of “a decisive Russian preference” for Trump.

Gabbard later questioned how one could believe Russia wanted Trump to win the election when they may have been holding information detrimental to Hillary Clinton, citing a 2020 House Intelligence Committee report suggesting the Kremlin potentially had damaging information of the 2016 presidential candidate. The DNI claimed that they did not plan on releasing the information unless Clinton secured victory, which they were expecting.
Miller maintained that the ICA report was a correct assessment of Russia’s involvement. Its claims would be the foundation of years of investigations into alleged Russian collusion from Trump’s 2016 campaign.
A whistleblower who was allegedly a “senior CIA analyst and member” of the ICA team told Public that Miller “had no role in the ICA.”
This contradicts Miller’s claim on the “SpyTalk” podcast that she had been a key player in the assessment had as she helped draft the team for the ICA.
“Members of Miller’s analytic team participated in the ICA, but she had zero role,” the whistleblower told Public. They said CIA Director John Brennan played a large role in the production of the ICA.
Miller has also been listed as an awardee for the International Spy Museum’s Women Intelligence Trailblazers award.
