Relationship Test Twist! Who Went Home on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ 2025 Tonight? originally appeared on Parade.

On the August 4 episode of Bachelor in Paradise, the action picked up an hour before the Rose Ceremony, which the Golden women were not looking forward to because half of them were not going to get a rose.

Plus, host Jesse Palmer revealed the big twist right after the Rose Ceremony — moving forward, there are no new arrivals. Instead, there will be Relationship Tests where there will be winners and losers. Winners will sometimes have big decisions to make, and losers will sometimes be left without a rose to hand out. The couple that wins the whole show could walk away with $500,000 to split.

As new arrival Allyshia Gupta said after the announcement, “I’m excited to see the phony ones ripping apart at the seams.” You and me both, sister.

Also, Kim Buike had two different conversations with women about their respective spouses’ dying, and it made me tear up both times. He also said, “Crying is healthy for you,” and what a real man he is for saying that out loud on national TV. Kim is the best.

Below are all the details on who went home, who stayed and who coupled up, but be warned of spoilers ahead. Don’t keep reading if you don’t want to be spoiled.

What was the first Relationship Test on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10?

The first Relationship Test was called “High/Low, Whatta You Know?” where they answered questions off camera, and the answers were always a single number, like “How many children do you want to have?” or something like that. Each couple was given a question and a number that was close to the answer the partner gave. The player at the table then got to bet higher or lower than the number that was given. If they got it right, they doubled the chips they wagered. If they got it wrong, they lost the chips. The bottom 3 couples in the challenge were not going to have a rose to hand out at the next Rose Ceremony, while the winners would earn a spectacular one-on-one date.

The female half of the winning couple also won the power to give out the final two roses at the next Rose Ceremony. Wow.

It very quickly became apparent that Brian Autz and Parisa Shifteh do not know each other AT ALL. Hmm, maybe he should’ve been more open to talking about his favorite color during their VIP suite date.

Going into the final round, the standings looked like this:

Dale and Kat 18
Jeremy and Bailey 18
Gary and Leslie 18
Spencer and Jess 17
Jonathon and Lea 16
Andrew and Alexe 11
Sean and Allyshia 10
Keith and Kathy 10
Kim and Faith 9
Brian and Parisa 2

In the end, Jeremy and Bailey won because Jeremy bet all their chips on the final question and got it right. The bottom 3 ended up being Gary and Leslie, Brian and Parisa, and Kim and Faith. Gary made an absolutely boneheaded move on the final question to land them in the bottom. From a friendship standpoint, Bailey should send Brian and Parisa home because they are so dysfunctional, but from a competition standpoint, maybe that’s why Bailey should keep them and send Gary and Leslie home.

Of course, Bailey was just thrilled to learn that Jeremy is such a good listener and knows her so well, but little does she know that he can’t stop obsessing over Susie Evans, who left several episodes ago.

Funnily enough, one of the people who knows about Jeremy’s Susie obsession is Brian, who was in danger of going home — and while Brian and Parisa are clearly not going to make it as a couple, Brian wants to stay for the money.

Meanwhile, Jonathon was up to his old tricks of saying one thing to the girl he is pseudo-paired with and saying something else to everyone else. This time it was Lea instead of Jill, but the same situation. Lea confronted him about it, and he basically said no, he’s not interested in her romantically.
