Rachel Brosnahan is bringing back a cult-classic dress. This Tuesday, the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star walked the red carpet during CinemaCon 2025 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas while wearing a piece of TV fashion history.
The piece in question was a little gray newspaper-print dress from John Galliano—one that greatly resembled the John Galliano for Christian Dior newspaper dress that Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) wore in a 2000 Sex and the City episode.
Bradshaw’s was a white asymmetric slipdress with a contrasting black and gray newspaper print. Brosnahan’s vintage piece, meanwhile, was a black micro minidress with a sweetheart neckline, thick sleeves, and a skintight silhouette. Its newspaper print appeared in stark white and in one part read “ ‘Go-Go’ with Galliano”—a nod from the designer to himself.
Styled by Alexandra Mandelkorn, Brosnahan wore the piece not with strappy stiletto sandals, like Bradshaw, but with black leather knee-high boots. She capped off the look with chunky silver jewelry: hoop earrings, a chain bracelet, and several rings. Her hair was styled in a Hollywood waves with side-swept bangs.
Brosnahan walked the carpet in the look next to Superman costar David Corenswet to promote their upcoming film (she is the Lois Lane to his Clark Kent) at the Warner Bros. Pictures Studio presentation during CinemaCon.
Other stars who are at the Las Vegas film convention include Sydney Sweeney (who walked the carpet in a bridal gown), Amanda Seyfried, Viola Davis, Jenna Ortega, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, among many others.
