Priscilla Presley, 80, Looks Somber While Making a Rare Public Appearance originally appeared on Parade.
It’s not often that we see Priscilla Presley, 80, out and about these days — especially in the two years since she lost daughter Lisa Marie Presley — but this week, she seems to have made an exception.
In photos published by The Sun on July 30 that were taken earlier this week, Presley can be seen out in Bel Air with her security team, wearing black flare pants, high heels, and a black and purple floral blouse. At the time the photos were taken, Presley looked very somber and serious, though it’s not clear where she was en route to.

This isn’t the first time Presley has been spotted this month. She was also seen walking her dog on July 10, with her pup’s leash in one hand and her coffee in the other.

Back in April, Presley announced her new memoir, Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis will be released in stores on September 23.
“This book covers eight decades of my life,” Presley said in a statement to People at the time. “Writing it has been a learning experience on many levels. I have reflected deeply both on myself and on those I love. I have always loved and admired Elvis, but the more than four decades of living without him have taught me how rare and extraordinary he was as a human being.”
She added, ““Reliving the trauma in my life has also been challenging. I live with grief, and I have learned that it never goes away. I will never outlive it, but I move through it one day at a time. I carry every one of the people I have lost with me. I feel their presence, and I believe that my journey will eventually bring us back to one another.”
