As announced by Julien’s Auctions this week, the collection—titled “Princess Diana’s Style & A Royal Collection”—”features over 300 rare and iconic items, including garments from the beloved Princess Diana that have never been to market.”
Many items are expected to go for staggering prices between $10,000 and $100,000—or even higher.
Some of the most recognizable pieces featured in the collection include the Bruce Oldfield two-piece yellow floral-patterned silk ensemble that Diana was spotted wearing to Royal Ascot races in 1987. It is estimated on Julien’s website to go for somewhere between $100,000 and $200,000.
Another iconic piece of clothing hitting the auction floor is the HEAD Scarlet Nylon ski suit famously worn by the late Princess of Wales. Julien’s estimates the ski suit will go for $30,000-$50,000.
Other items now open for bidding include several pairs of shoes worn by Diana, a number of her designer handbags, gowns and other royal memorabilia.
The auction runs at Julien’s Auctions from May 19 through June 26.
