Princess Beatrice knows how to dress up for a night out. Attending the Elephant Family’s “Evening of Art and Conservation” in Kew Gardens on Tuesday evening, Princess Beatrice arrived solo—sans husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi—in a glamorous Rebecca Vallance gown made of metallic brocade and featuring a floral print. She carried a white satin clutch, and wore dark pumps to complete her look.

The event raises money for the Elephant Family, an organization established by Queen Camilla’s late brother, Mark Shand, in 2002. Also in attendance this evening were King Charles and Queen Camilla, who posed with wooden elephants as they arrived. Since 2014, the King and Queen have been joint presidents of the organization, which joined the British Asian Trust in 2019.
It’s been a busy few months for Princess Beatrice, who welcomed daughter Athena in January. “I’ve had a life that is out of the ordinary, but my joys and fears in pregnancy and motherhood are the same as those experienced by millions of other women around the world,” she wrote in an essay for British Vogue about her daughter’s preterm birth.
Last month, she visited a cancer ward with her sister, Princess Eugenie, and their mom, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. Ferguson recently dealt with back-to-back cancer diagnoses for both skin and breast cancer, and is focused on supporting young people with cancer. “It’s incredibly important to me to seek to amplify the voices and experiences of people with cancer who receive less attention, whose voices are not listened to and who can be overlooked,” the Duchess of York wrote.
Also in April, Beatrice also joined the royals in Windsor for Easter Sunday services, and many of her family members at the F1 Grand Prix in Bahrain.
