Rihanna is already setting the tone for her pregnancy style.
The “Breaking Dishes” singer, 37, who announced on Monday, May 5 that she is pregnant and expecting her third baby with partner A$AP Rocky, was photographed on Thursday, May 8, as she walked around New York City carrying an oversized baguette purse. Rihanna also wore a red and white cropped polo shirt, letting her belly peek through.
The stylish singer added low-rise light wash jeans and a New York Yankees hat, accessorizing with the unique crossbody bag and glasses.

The musician already shares son Riot, 21 months, and RZA, who turns 3 this month, with Rocky, 36.
Shortly after Rocky and Rihanna announced their exciting news, an exclusive source shared with PEOPLE that the “Love on the Brain” singer and the Long. Live. ASAP artist are “thrilled to be growing their family.”
The insider also explained why the couple wanted to have their children close together in age.
“Rihanna has always wanted a big family, so she couldn’t be more excited. Rihanna and Rocky are thrilled to be growing their family and they can’t wait to give their boys another sibling,” the exclusive source told PEOPLE.
“They wanted to have their children close together in age, so that they could grow up together and share a close bond,” they continued. “They feel so blessed and are so grateful for this next chapter in their lives. It’s a very special time.”

As she walked the blue carpet outside the gala later that night, Rihanna gave an update on how her third pregnancy is going so far.
“I’m good. I’m shockingly feeling okay and not too overwhelmed at the moment,” the pregnant mom of two told Entertainment Tonight. “I mean, at first, it was kinda like, ‘Ah!’ And I’m tired, but then I’m excited.”
The musician was then asked if this pregnancy would delay her forthcoming ninth album, to which Rihanna pushed back and said, “No. Maybe a couple videos, but I can sing!”
