Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have gone from rumored lovebirds to expectant parents.
The “SNL” alum and model, who first sparked dating speculation in March, surprised fans on July 16 when the couple announced on social media that they’re expecting their first child.
Just days after sharing the baby news, Davidson gushed about fatherhood in a July 22 interview with E! News, telling the outlet that he’s “very lucky and very, very happy.”
“Everybody’s just been super excited for me because they know it’s been my dream,” Davidson, 31, said, adding that he is excited “to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn’t have. I assume you just try to give them what you didn’t have, and what you didn’t like, not do it.”

The internet first began buzzing about Davidson and Hewitt after paparazzi photos of the pair engaging in beach day PDA were released in March 2025, according to images obtained by the Daily Mail. The then-rumored couple was spotted at a waterfront hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.
Davidson and Hewitt quickly soft-launched their relationship when the “Industry” actress posted a video on her Instagram story one day after media speculation began to swirl.
The revealing clip showed an old-school rear-projection TV playing the opening credits of the Nickelodeon cartoon “Rugrats.” Just as the theme music ended, Davidson made a comedic entrance, smiling and wearing a white robe.

In a July 16 Instagram post, Hewitt revealed her pregnancy with Davidson by sharing a sweet carousel of photos of the couple, which included a brief clip of the pair looking at their baby’s sonogram.
Other photos from the post featured a candid shot of Davidson and Hewitt snuggling while Hewitt cradled her growing baby bump, as well as an apropos SpongeBob SquarePants meme that read, “One of y’all hiding your pregnancy, I can feel it.”
“Welp, now everyone knows we had sex,” Hewitt playfully captioned the pregnancy announcement.
Hewitt, a 29-year-old model, is the latest woman in a long line of Davidson love interests.

Hewitt, who boasts 1 million followers on her Instagram account @elsie, has reportedly been previously linked to music producer Benny Blanco and actor Jason Sudeikis.
The actress-model was born in London on March 5, 1996, and was raised in England before moving to Los Angeles when she was 10, according to her IMDb bio.
She began her career as a model at 18 years old and has starred in notable brand campaigns, including Guess’ 2018 spring/summer campaign.
