Pedro Pascal Opens Up On Jennifer Aniston Romance Rumors

Despite a cozy three-hour dinner that had fans swooning, Pedro Pascal, who is promoting the new season of the hit show, “The Last Of Us,” insists the pair are just longtime pals.

“Jennifer and I are very good friends,” Pascal told Entertainment Tonight at the Season 2 premiere of his hit HBO series on Monday. “And I got to have dinner [with her] on Saturday, and it was a fun martini dinner.”

The actor, known for his charm both on and off screen, playfully brushed off the dating rumors, saying the speculation likely had more to do with Aniston’s A-list status than anything romantic.

“That’s her starlight,” he joked. “I’m just basking in it!”

“It happens,” he said with a shrug.

Instead, he focused on the upcoming season of “The Last of Us.”

“The Last of Us” returns for its highly anticipated second season on April 13, and stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are already giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come, including tears, reading glasses, and some serious emotional depth.

“You get to see like a single tear fall from one of my eyes down my cheek, maybe a little bit of mucus,” Pascal joked, hinting at a more vulnerable side of his character, Joel. “I think Joel has reading glasses this season. So, there are some serious moves that are coming your way.”

Season 2 promises to explore new layers of the hardened yet protective Joel, who became a fan-favorite in the series’ debut season, based on the acclaimed video game franchise. And while the stakes are higher, the bond between the show’s lead actors has never been stronger.

For Bella Ramsey, who plays the fierce and resilient Ellie, the return to set was made even more special by their reunion with Pascal. Now 21, Ramsey reflected on how their relationship with Pascal evolved between seasons.

“We are the dream team,” Bella said. “I mean it was really nice to be back with him this season, but like knowing him — season one we were getting to know each other.”

They continued, “This season I already knew him so well, and he knew me, so it felt very immediately comfortable and funny.”

Pedro’s recent response to the romance rumors comes just hours after a Page Six insider confirmed that there is “no romance going on” between Pascal and Aniston. “They respect each other as artists, but the nature of their relationship is strictly platonic,” the source said.

The actors were seen leaving West Hollywood’s famed Sunset Tower Hotel on Saturday night, joining a small group near the valet after dining at the Tower Bar. Dressed casually but stylishly, the duo quickly had social media in a frenzy.

Pascal wore a leather jacket, jeans, and loafers, while Aniston turned heads in a white tee layered under a black leather vest, cuffed black pants, and boots, a look that many fans said gave strong Rachel Green energy.

While fans may have hoped for a real-life rom-com, both stars have histories that suggest they’re not rushing into anything new. Pascal is famously private about his dating life and has never publicly confirmed relationships, though he’s been linked to actresses Maria Dizzia, Lena Headey, and Robin Tunney.

Aniston, meanwhile, has had several high-profile relationships, most notably her marriage to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. She also dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer before her long-term relationship and eventual marriage to Justin Theroux, which ended in 2017.

She has not publicly dated anyone since.
