Pamela Anderson Makes a Bold Confession About Liam Neeson originally appeared on Parade.
Pamela Anderson revealed how she and her and costar Liam Neeson really felt about watching the The Naked Guntogether for the first time.
The 58-year-old actress made the surprising confession in her interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers on July 30 and shared she and Neeson, 73, find it “hard” to watch themselves on screen.
“It’s hard to watch yourself, even [for] Liam,” she explained. “It’s hard to be objective, I guess, but you play it straight. Otherwise it wouldn’t be funny.” She also opened up about embracing her goofy side in the role and added that “it’s so fun to be silly, I just think we need it.”
“It’s great to be able to go to a movie with a bunch of people smiling and laughing,” she continued. “It just seems so odd [nowadays].”

In The Naked Gun, Neeson plays Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Detective Sergeant Frank Drebin. He follows in his father’s footsteps and decided to join the police force and meets Anderson’s character Beth Davenport, who is seeking justice for her brother’s murder.
The pair have sparked romance rumors throughout the press run for the film and Neeson addressed the speculation on an interview on the Today show on July 29.
“What? I don’t understand the question,” he joked before revealing he and Pamela met for the first time on set.
“We discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry as two actors,” he continued. “Like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mould this. Let’s just let it breathe,’ and that’s what we did.”
The Naked Gun is set to release in theaters on August 1.
