No matter the occasion, Paloma Elsesser always manages to blend her unique personal style into everything she wears. The 2025 Met Gala was no different.
While attending the high-profile event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 5, the model wore a red gown with an off-the-shoulder style and feathers in the same fiery hue on one side. The gown was the product of designer Maximilian Davis’s Ferragamo.
She let the drama from her dress take center stage, pairing the gown with the sleekest of slicked-back buns and a red lip that matched her ensemble. She also sported a glitzy smoky-eye look with cat-eye liner for good measure.
As for her jewelry, she kept her décolletage clear and sans necklace, opting instead for tiny dangling silver earrings to add some subtle sparkle.
Of course, Elsesser is no stranger to the Met steps. Last year, she embodied the 2024 theme, “The Garden of Time,” with a custom H&M creation that was nothing short of museum-worthy. Her look pulled inspiration from the evolution of beauty and the classical monuments that dot cityscapes.
She wore a bespoke two-piece ensemble. On top she wore a made-to-measure metallic bodice, 3D-printed and electroformed in a weathered green patina to mimic oxidized bronze, complete with delicate calla lilies blooming across the chest. On the bottom, a champagne silk-taffeta skirt with a bubble hem sat low on her hips.
