DeSorbo revealed that during one of their first stops, she had a panic attack before going on stage

Paige DeSorbo is revealing one of her tougher moments on tour.
Despite being a reality television personality, fans don’t always see every aspect of DeSorbo’s life behind the scenes. During an appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast on April 29, the Summer House star reflected on her experience going on tour for her own podcast, Giggly Squad, sharing that things didn’t always go smoothly.
“This describes tour — we were in Denver, we had just started our tour,” she recalled. “We’re about to go out on stage in like fifteen minutes and I’m like, ‘No. I think I’m having a panic attack. My hands are numb, I’m crying, I’m throwing up.’”

Hannah Berner, DeSorbo’s co-host, attempted to calm her down by playing “spa music in the background,” but it wasn’t much help.
“I’m literally in the midst of crying, tears are running down my face,” DeSorbo, 32, continued. “I realized that Hannah has forgotten her shirt that she’s wearing out on stage. So she’s gonna wear this silk pajama shirt that the venue had given us, like this merch. I can’t even speak, and the only words I can get out is: ‘You can’t wear that shirt on stage!’”
“And she looks over at me, and she’s like, ‘You’re having a panic attack, and you’re gonna tell me what I’m gonna wear?’” she joked. “Luckily, I had a T-shirt in my bag that was extra. I was like, ‘Put this on.’ She put that on, her outfit was fine and then I got out of my panic attack.”
Berner, 33, noted that DeSorbo had also called her mom, who only made the situation worse. “I’m just listening, supporting, and all I hear is, ‘Paige, stop. Paige, stop it. You’re fine. Paige, you’re fine,’” the comedian said. “She hangs up. We start dying laughing. We were like, ‘Your mom just told you to stop!’”

“She’s like, ‘Panic attacks aren’t real,’” DeSorbo then quipped as Berner added, “She’s like, ‘Back in my day, we sucked it up.’”
Poehler, 53, explained that her generation “never even had the word anxiety,” so she understood where DeSorbo’s mom was coming from.

The Giggly Squad tour fell during a particularly difficult time for DeSorbo — shortly after it kicked off, she broke up with her then-boyfriend of three years, Craig Conover. Season 9 of Summer House documented the months leading up to the split, where DeSorbo expressed concerns about how her success was driving a wedge in her relationship with the Southern Charm star.
“Craig’s been ready for a family and for me to move into his home since literally I think the day he texted me,” she said in a confessional. “But I have worked for this exact moment in my career for 10+ years. This fall, my podcast Giggly Squad is going on a 60-city tour. I’m just as shocked as everyone else. Trust me, I wanted to be in the bed. I wanted to be taken care of.”
“I would have loved to just marry a man and said, ‘And now I’m done.’ But that’s not where I’m at,” she added.
