In the WNBA tunnel, when confronted with a runway of swaggy, six-foot-tall pro athletes in head-to-toe designer fits, it’s nearly impossible to choose a best dressed. Still, as far as current crowd favorites go, Paige Bueckers has a wardrobe and a personal style that are hard to ignore.
The 23-year-old Dallas Wings guard isn’t afraid to play with loud prints and maximalist dimensions. And some of her best style moments come when she mixes ultra-feminine pieces with menswear-inspired staples—or preppy gems with sportswear essentials.
In her latest Instagram photo dump featuring images of her recent tunnel outfits, Bueckers just does that. One look has her in an oversize white tee, a loose gray zip-up hoodie, baggy black lounge pants, and sneakers. Simple at first sight, the outfit is anchored by pops of red throughout: from the lettering on the sweatshirt to the bright Maraschino cherry hue of the sneakers. Bueckers then ups the ante with her accessories: diamond studs and rings, plus Coach’s spacious Soft Empire Carryall Bag in sultry black leather.
Another look leans more off-duty country club member. Up top, the basketball star wears a cream cable-knit sweater vest; and for bottoms, she chooses gray jorts with slightly-frayed hems. White running sneakers worn with ribbed white socks—plus her same extra-large Coach bag—complete the look. For jewelry, she goes classic with diamond stud earrings and a gold chain.
A third look in the slideshow, courtesy of Coach’s Fall 2025 collection, is where preppy schoolgirl meets sporty street style. It involves the brand’s shrunken argyle sweater in brown and tan, styled with Coach’s repurposed ripped jeans with sandy suede patches all over. The pants are accessorized with a silver chain strap, also from the brand, and for footwear, Buecker slips into the chunky black leather Leah Loafers. Her carryall bag is still there, and three looks later, she’s convinced me, I need it.
