Ozzy Osbourne fans publicly grieved his death during a hometown funeral procession in Birmingham, England, on July 30, and now the heavy metal legend is being privately laid to rest by his closest family and friends.
His widow, Sharon Osbourne, and family honored his request to be buried at his Buckinghamshire home, per Daily Mail.
The Black Sabbath frontman’s final resting spot is reportedly near the “heart” of a lake on the 250-acre property near Gerrards Cross, with the outlet reporting that a huge floral piece was placed on the grounds with the words, “OZZY F—ING OSBOURNE.”

His closest family, including children Kelly, Jack and AimeeOsbourne, were said to be in attendance, along with his grandchildren—Jack’s daughters, Pearl, Andie, Minnie and Maple, along with Kelly’s 2-year-old son, Sidney.
His son, Louis, 50, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, was in attendance at the public procession, while his other children with Riley—Jessica, 45, and adopted son, Elliot Kingsley—seemingly skipped the event. It’s unclear if they were in attendance at the private funeral.
Many music legends were also expected, including Sir Elton John and Metallica frontman James Hetfield.
At the public funeral procession the day prior, Sharon was seen breaking down into tears as she mourned the loss, with he family showing love to the fans by holding up peace signs.
As fans lined the streets to pay their final respects—mere weeks after they gathered in the city on July 5 for the legend’s farewell show—a car carrying his coffin traveled along Broad Street, decorated with a purple floral arrangement spelling “Ozzy” and a purple floral cross.
While no cause of death was revealed, the “Prince of Darkness” dealt with several health issues prior, including a diagnosis of Parkinson’s in 2019.
He died on July 22 at the age of 76.
