Osbourne had often credited performing as the driving force behind his life. In a resurfaced 2022 interview, he shared what gave his life purpose—his passion for the stage.
“It’s like what I strive for. I got there as if it’s my first show. You know, it makes my life worth living. And that’s why I cleaned up my act. Because I’m a fat slob. I’m smoking eight packs a day. I’m taking drugs. I’m drinking alcohol. That’s disrespectful for them,” Osbourne said.
Fans poured into the comments of the shared clip with heartfelt tributes. “May his sweet soul rest in peace,” wrote one commenter. Another added, “RIP Ozzy, your passion and energy onstage made so many lives—including mine—feel truly alive and meaningful.”
