The Lord of the Rings actor’s latest outing comes amid reports of tension in their marriage.
Orlando Bloom made a surprise appearance in Australia on Sunday, June 23 as he jetted Down Under just in time for his wife Katy Perry’s performance in Perth. The “Fireworks” singer—who’s been in Australia the entire month of June for her Lifetimes tour—was absent as Bloom spent time with the couple’s daughter amid rumors about their nearly decade-long relationship.
Per photos shared by The DailyMail, The Lord of the Rings actor could be seen carrying 5-year-old Daisy Dove on his shoulders as they explored Perth with an entourage of security. While Perry wasn’t spotted with the father-daughter pair, a source recently told The Sun that it’s likely the couple would have some “make-or-break talks” about their future together.

The longtime couple have recently been battling split speculation, with several sources telling People that the negative reception to Perry’s latest album, 143, as well as the backlash to her Blue Origin Space Trip have put “tension” on their relationship.
“Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,” an insider source previously shared. “It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.” Meanwhile, another source said that negative tour reviews “put stress on their relationship.”

However, a source told The Sun that things are still up in the air for the couple after she wraps her last Australia tour date on June 30. They shared, “No one has decided it’s definitely the end of the road for Katy and Orlando.” They explained that outside factors have put a strain on their relationship, saying, “They both love each other, but they have been living different lives for at least a year and in different mindsets.” Despite the difficulties of maintaining a relationship with Perry on the road, they added, “Katy especially doesn’t want to just give up.”
