(The Center Square) – “No Kings Day of Defiance” rallies protesting President Donald Trump’s policies will take place Saturday across the U.S., including in Arizona and Nevada. But it’s not to the same extent as states along the West and East coasts.

Nevada will have just a handful of rallies in scattered cities. Among them is one at the Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas.

More rallies are planned across Arizona, including cities varying from Phoenix to Sedona.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes Friday urged protesters to be peaceful.

“Arizonans have a constitutional right to make their voices heard through peaceful protest — and I will always defend that right,” Mayes said in a news release. “But let me be clear: There is no place for violence, destruction of property, or threats to public safety in our communities.”

The No Kings website describes Saturday as a “nationwide day of defiance” against what organizers believe are President Donald Trump’s tyrannical policies. More than 100 rallies are planned in California, and many are also in Colorado.
