There will be no more The Big Bang Theory reunions on Night Court.
NBC’s revival of the 1980s sitcom of the same name will not be returning for a fourth season, Entertainment Weekly has learned. This Night Court, which debuted in 2023, costarred John Larroquette, Lacretta, Wendie Malick, Nyambi Nyambi, and India de Beaufort, as the crew working the late shift in a Manhattan courthouse.
The news comes days after the show, which starred Melissa Rauch as Judge Abby Stone, the daughter of Judge Harry Stone, played by the late Harry Anderson, dropped its season finale.
The plot of the episode featured Simon Helberg, who portrayed Rauch’s husband in their former CBS hit, swooping in to make a Newhart-esque reference, just as she was about to get engaged to her love interest, Jake (Ryan Hansen). Spencer said he was already Abby’s husband, teasing a doozy of a premiere had the series been renewed.

Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik on ‘Night Court’
The Emmy-nominated show also featured guest roles for other Big Bang Theory names, including Mayim Bialik, who was neuroscientist Amy. She appeared on Night Court as an exaggerated and “really funny, evil” version of herself. Abby was a big fan of Blossom!
Bialik and Rauch, who played microbiologist Bernadette from 2009 until the series concluded in 2019, were excited to be back together.
“It feels like I should be dressed like Amy and she should be dressed like Bernadette,” Bialik told EW in December before the episode aired. “There’s definitely a lot of surreal moments and just a huge nostalgia factor. Melissa and I were next to each other for nine years of our lives and shared a huge section of our time together, as did the entire cast. She and I were brought on together in season 4 on Big Bang, so we really trudged a very similar path in terms of our timing.”
There have been other reunions too.

Kunal Nayyar, otherwise known as astrophysicist Raj on Big Bang, and Raegan Revord, who played the twin sister of Jim Parsons’ Sheldon Cooper on spin-off Young Sheldon, also stepped into the courthouse.
Fans of another show on the so-called peacock network, Lopez vs. Lopez, will also be disappointed to learn that comedian George Lopez’s family comedy will not be back either. Premiering in 2022, that series costarred Mayan Lopez, Matt Shively, Brice Gonzalez, Selenis Leyva, and Al Madrigal. The finale aired in February.
